Good morning beautiful humans,

Today I have two different recipes for you. Both are adaptogenic lattes or elixirs. :)

The first recipe is fantastic in the morning or as a mid-day pick me up, as it does contain minimal caffeine. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know how deeply I’ve fallen for Rasa. As a former habitual, excessive coffee drinker, making the leap to Rasa has not only helped my adrenals, fatigue but also has resolved my anxiety. I never truly realized nor wanted to believe that coffee could be, perhaps, making me feel the way it did! Until I eliminated it from my diet after a bout of food poisoning. And in all honesty, if I didn’t have the bout of food poisoning, I’d pry still be drinking it today. That’s how deep our relationship went.

Dirty Rasa Latte

This recipe is packed with so many nourishing adaptogens and super herbs! 🌿 As I mentioned, dirty rasa does contain a small amount of organic coffee, as well as, roasted chicory, burdock, dandelion root, eleuthero, shatavari, he shou wu, codonopsis, ashwaganda (y’all know my love for this), chaga, rhodiola, ceylon cinnamon & reishi. 🤩🍄

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 tbs Dirty Rasa

• 10 oz hot water (to brew rasa koffee)

• 2 oz macadamia nut mylk (or mylk of choice)

• 1 tbs coconut butter

• 1 tsp of Mood Beli energy tonic [maca + rhodiola + astragalus]

• 1 tbs tocos (I use Mood Beli cloud powder ☁️)

• 1 tsp local honey 🍯 

METHOD:

Bring the water to a boil and allow the Dirty Rasa to steep in your french press. Meanwhile, gently heat the macadamia mylk and coconut butter. Once warm and the coconut butter has begun to melt, take the rest of your ingredients, including your macadamia mylk + rasa koffee and blend on low in your blender until frothy. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!

Blissful Rose Cacao ‘Hot Chocolate’

And when I say ‘hot chocolate’, I mean healthy hot chocolate. Rasa offers a wonderful Cacao Blend which barely has any caffeine. I love making this when my sweet tooth strikes. Or if I want to sip of something warm and comforting. What is it about childhood nostalgia that can make you feel oh so cozy? Again, packed with so many superfoods and adaptogens! The Rose Nectar in this recipe adds a blissfully sweet touch. It is extracted from Bulgarian Rosa Damascena. The Rose Nectar is loaded with flavonoids, antioxidants, vitamins and essential oils that promote healthy skin, elevates mood and can help with supporting stress.

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 tbs Cacao Rasa

• water

• 1 tbs Rose Nectar

• 2 ounces walnut mylk (or mylk of choice

• 1 tbs coconut butter

• 1 tbs tocos

• 1 tbs Mood Beli Bliss Booster

• 1 tsp honey

METHOD:

Place the two tablespoons of Cacao Rasa in your french press. Boil water and brew as if it were regular coffee. Once that has steeped for at least five minutes, add Cacao Rasa and the rest of the ingredients in a high powered blender and blend on low for just a few moments. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy. I love drinking this while staying cozy with a book.
